We noticed at a young age that he listed to left. He never let it slow him down and happily bounced around with the other puppies. He has always been a little clumsier than the rest but it's a handicap that he makes up for easily with enthusiasm. After a visit to the vet, we are told that he likely has a congenital inner ear abnormality that affects his balance. We waited quite some time to put him up for adoption because we wanted to be certain that he is absolutely otherwise healthy and thankfully he has proven to be just that. His overall balance has also improved with age as he has learned to compensate for his sense of balance being off on one side. That said, he will probably always be a little off kilter and for that reason, we have affectionately nicknamed him Captain Jack Sparrow.
We are looking for an extra special home who will love this happy little boy exactly the way he was born - adorable head tilt, 4 left feet, and all.
